On our 6th Adventure we decided to visit our Cousin Samantha (Sammy) who lives near Piedmont Park. We had breakfast with her and then played at the Park. The next day we visit Mimi (grandma) and made Hamentashen, a special cookie we make for our friends and family during Purim, they were delicious. We celebrated our 5th episode with Max's 5th Birthday and decided to create a Scavenger Hunt! We made a treasure map and buried treasure in the back yard, then sent Max on his way with a shovel to go find it. Afterwards Mimi and Zaide (Max's grandparents) came over and showed us how to make Caramel Popcorn, it was delicious. It was cold out but we decided to brave the weather and head to the zoo! On our way home we hit up one of my favorite places in Atlanta, Zunzis, a South African eatery with awesome sandwiches and much more. It was a great day for the whole family. It was awesome weather so we decided to climb to the top of Stone Mountain (technically walk, but that's besides the point). Afterwards we explored a new rolled ice cream place and found out they even had vegan options for Mommy. It was a great day for the whole family. We subscribed to Raddish Kids, a monthly cooking subscription geared towards kids 4-14. They send you a kit each month with a cooking utensil and 3 recipes. This month's theme was Italian. We made Ravioli! We'll try the salad and Tiramisu another time. But the kids and I had a blast and it tasted great.
